4/15 From Pam Goodroe: I'm doing okay, still painful. A little better every day. Have checkup appointment with surgeon Thursday. I sleep a lot, just get tired easily. Still nauseous after I eat. Got a long road ahead. I know God will heal me. Also, tomorrow I will start taking voicemail and text messages for Prayer Chain. I'll do the best I can. (Submitted 4/13/2025)
4/9 Please pray for Justin Ballard, Jerry and Ethel Hall's step grandson 32yrs old. He has blood clots and vein issues. He has been in the hospital since Sat. 4/6. He was scheduled for a procedure yesterday 4/8 but it got rescheduled to Thursday 4/10 or Friday 4/11 due to a more urgent patient. Please pray for doctors to have wisdom and for God to guide their hands. (Submitted 4/8/2025)
4/9 Pam Goodroe - Surgery at U of M Hospital tomorrow 7:30a.m. (3–4-hour surgery) left side hip, cleaning out ripped layers in glutes & stitching back together layers and reattaching them (one is ripped in half.) Tendons are filleted & strap repair. Prayer for John and our family for during the wait & helping afterwards. ALSO: I will be on heavy pain meds. Please if you or anyone asks to be put on prayer chain; I will not be available for at least a week. Please direct all needs to church office or to Pastor JJ or Pastor Mike Severn. (Submitted 4/6/2025) UPDATE: Home on pain meds, sleeping a lot. Surgery went well. Due to muscle loss doc said this surgery will relieve pain but not give me anymore strength. While getting into the house I made a bad move, hubby caught me best he could, but we both heard a small popping sound. Not sure it was me or him? 4/2 From Goodroe's: Our loved one, Dylan, is in the United States Navy and 2 days ago started having panic attacks, even in his sleep and went to ER. Today he had to go back to ER. Please pray for answers. He is supposed to be deployed in a week. (Submitted 3/25/2025) UPDATE PRAISE: Dylan has not had any more panic attacks. Thank You Jesus! He is scheduled to deploy next week. 3/25 From Ethel Hall: My daughter Tina Ballard has a torn meniscus of the knee. She will be in physical therapy for 6-8 weeks. Praying no surgery will be needed. (Submitted 3/24/2025)
3/25 Please pray for John Crump (Cynthia, Melissa & Chris's brother) could be added to the prayer chain. Cheryl Crump & Melissa Zavitz both shared a GoFundMe post about him on Facebook. He's currently in the ICU and unresponsive. He fell and got hurt back in February and has had multiple complications since. (Submitted 3/22/2025)

1/12 Cathy Young is having biopsy done for breast cancer. Praying it's benign. 2/12/25 Update Breast cancer stage 1. Surgery Monday Feb 10th. Update- one lymph node had a few cancer cells. They are testing it see the likelihood of the cancer returning. This may change treatment plan from just radiation to chemo and radiation. Please pray for a low score. I truly appreciate each and every prayer. Update-Having issues with incision healing. Answered prayers My oncotype score is 15. A score of 25 or more meant chemo. I shouldn't have to have chemo! Thank you Jesus! Breast cancer update. Incision opened up. Surgeon said there is a large hematoma that has to drain. No chemo Praising God. Radiation delayed 3 weeks for incision to heal.
